Simple and dainty, the Gold-filled Adore Ring is designed to hold your chosen inclusion within a small keepsake stone.
Your inclusion is carefully preserved and set into a keepsake stone, creating a meaningful piece to remember your story, connection, or motherhood journey.
Each ring is handcrafted using Gold-filled components, with a delicate 1.5mm band and 4x6mm or 6x8mm stone, designed to be worn alone or stacked with other Gold-filled Adore Rings.
This soldered, Gold-filled design is available in limited sizes. If you require a size not listed here, please see our solid metal Adore Rings.
Due to its naturally dainty construction, this ring is best worn with care and is not recommended for heavy everyday wear.

Select the main inclusion for your keepsake and choose the effects or base colour from our special options designed for your inclusion.
STEP 3: Add Additional Inclusions (Optional)
Select if you’d like to include any additional inclusions such as flecks, flowers, birthstones, hair, or anything else special to you.
STEP 4: Placement of Additional Inclusions
Additional inclusions will be placed over your selected stone base. Select from the available placement options.
If you're adding hair, select the placement from the available options, hair is placed over the stone base.

Breastmilk/Test Cap Effects
- Shimmer - A soft, white shimmer added to the base of your stone
- Moonstone Shimmer - A subtle blue shimmer for a moonstone-like glow
- Opal Effect - Gives your stone the look of a white opal

- Genuine natural gemstones, finely crushed and placed over the base of your stone

Faceted genuine gemstones or natural diamonds (1.5mm or 2mm) set as accent stones as part of your keepsake.
Metal components
This keepsake is crafted from 14ct gold-filled materials. Each piece is expertly soldered by hand, ensuring an elegant design that honours your most precious memories.

Soldered keepsakes feature a delicate design and require extra care during wear. With proper care, your piece will remain a cherished memento for years to come.

Timeframe
Each keepsake is carefully handmade to order, making every piece truly unique.
Our standard processing time is 8-10 weeks from when we receive your inclusions. During peak seasons like Mother’s Day and Christmas, turnaround times may be slightly longer due to high demand.
We’ll keep you updated at every step of the creation process.
Warranty
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects for 24 months from the date of receipt. It does not include damage from normal wear, accidents, misuse, or alterations made outside of Milk & Stone’s care.
Milk & Stone Jewellery purchased after 17/11/2023 is covered by our non-yellowing guarantee. If your stone material ever discolours, we’ll repair it free of charge.
We can not guarantee the colour fastness of your inclusions due to the unique nature of your selections.

FAQ
Can I send frozen milk?
Yes you can!
If your milk is frozen please make sure you defrost it and mail it to us in a sterile milk storage bag.
Squeeze out any air inside the bag, seal it, wrap it in a paper towel and place it inside another milk storage bag. Label the second bag with your order number (not receipt number) and your name.
Your milk does not need to stay cold in transit.
How much of my inclusions do I send?
Milk: 10-15mL (1 tbs) of milk inside a sterile milk storage bag with the air squeezed out. If you can't get this much we can makes stones with as little as 2.5mL.
Ashes: 1/2 teaspoon. Any ashes that aren't used for your piece are posted back to you with your completed jewellery.
Hair: A pinch about 5mm thick.
Placenta/Umbilical cord: One capsule or a 5-10mm dried section.
Sand/Soil/Flowers: These inclusions can't be sent internationally and will be rejected/destroyed by Australian bio-security.
Sand/soil: 1/2 teaspoon.
Flowers: 2-4 Petals from each flower. These must be dried for a minimum of 3 weeks prior to being sent to us.
What is the difference between Gold Filled and Solid Gold?
Gold filled jewellery has a layer of gold bonded to a base metal, while solid gold jewellery is made entirely of gold. Solid gold is more valuable, but gold filled pieces offer a more affordable option with a layer of gold that is thicker than gold plated items.
Solid gold can be repaired if scratched however gold filled cannot be repaired if scratched. The process for repairing scratches will expose the base metal in gold filled jewellery.
Gold filled jewellery can last 10-30 years. Solid gold jewellery can last forever and is our recommended choice for keepsakes with inclusions that cannot be replaced and/or for heirloom pieces.
How many inclusions can I add to my stone?
We recommend limiting your additions to 3 inclusions. The more inclusions you add the 'busier' your stone will look. We find that busy designs distract from the natural beauty of each inclusion and the story being told.
