Stackable Keepsake

This keepsake can stack with any La Lune or Adore Ring

The La Lune Circle Stacking Ring is a dainty, handcrafted piece that captures the journey of motherhood. With a 1.2mm round band and three size options, this lightweight keepsake, made from your cherished inclusions, honours your moments and milestones.

Each piece of jewellery is handcrafted in Sydney Australia, ensuring that no two designs are alike. It is natural for our handmade keepsakes to show subtle signs of the crafting process, such as slight variations in texture, tiny air bubbles, or colour shifts. These details add to the uniqueness of your keepsake, creating character and depth.

Perfect for:
  • Mothers looking to preserve their breastfeeding journey.
  • Families who want to honour the memory of a loved one through meaningful jewellery.
METALS:

This keepsake is crafted from 925 sterling silver, 14ct yellow gold-filled, or 14ct rose gold-filled materials. Each piece is expertly soldered by hand, ensuring an elegant design that honours your most precious memories.

These soldered rings are dainty and delicate, requiring careful handling and protection. If the ring catches on something, it may bend, which is a natural characteristic of this type of setting, not a defect.

If you're looking for keepsakes made from solid metals, explore our Heirloom Collection.

ADD-INS:

Gemstones:

We only use natural, untreated crushed gemstones.

Flowers:

Our birth-flowers are color-stabilised to preserve their colour. This special treatment ensures the flowers don't turn brown over time.

Your keepsake is carefully handmade to order. Our processing time is 8-10 weeks from when we receive your inclusions.

We’ll keep you updated regularly throughout the creation process.

Milk & Stone Jewellery purchased after 17/11/2023 is covered by our non-yellowing guarantee. If your stone material ever discolours, we’ll repair it free of charge.

We can not guarantee the colour fastness of your inclusions due to the unique nature of your selections.

My friend and I had our first babies two months apart and I chose Milk & Stone to create breastmilk keepsakes for us to cherish our journeys. The process is very easy to follow because Lauren provides clear and detailed instructions on how to prepare and ship the inclusions for the jewelry. I especially appreciated receiving email updates with what part of the process the jewelry was in.
There are countless makers out there for breastmilk jewelry but I found that M&s was the only one to truly offer a waterproof and non yellowing option.
The end product is dainty, beautiful, and of high quality.
Like with any exquisite, handcrafted piece of art
- it is worth the wait. Thanks a million, Milk & Stone team!

I am in love with my ring set from Milk & Stone and the support offered through the whole process was so comforting. I treasure the fact that I now have a tiny piece of my baby boy Sonny that I can wear everyday. This beautiful piece of jewellery allows his memory to live on and remind me that I'm still a mum. From the bottom of my broken heart, thank you xx

Absolutely in love with my ring. Such a beautiful keepsake to cherish forever.
It was such an easy process all I had to do was send my breastmilk in the mail then just wait for my ring to be made and delivered.
To have such a meaningful piece of jewellery to celebrate our feeding journey together, it’s something I’ll wear everyday.

FAQ

Can I send frozen milk?

Yes you can!

If your milk is frozen please make sure you defrost it and mail it to us in a sterile milk storage bag.

Squeeze out any air inside the bag, seal it, wrap it in a paper towel and place it inside another milk storage bag. Label the second bag with your order number (not receipt number) and your name.

Your milk does not need to stay cold in transit.

How much of my inclusions do I send?

Milk: 10-15mL (1 tbs) of milk inside a sterile milk storage bag with the air squeezed out. If you can't get this much we can makes stones with as little as 2.5mL.

Ashes: 1/2 teaspoon. Any ashes that aren't used for your piece are posted back to you with your completed jewellery.

Hair: A pinch about 5mm thick.

Placenta/Umbilical cord: One capsule or a 5-10mm dried section.

Sand/Soil/Flowers: These inclusions can't be sent internationally and will be rejected/destroyed by Australian bio-security.

Sand/soil: 1/2 teaspoon.

Flowers: 2-4 Petals from each flower. These must be dried for a minimum of 3 weeks prior to being sent to us.

What is the difference between Gold Filled and Solid Gold?

Gold filled jewellery has a layer of gold bonded to a base metal, while solid gold jewellery is made entirely of gold. Solid gold is more valuable, but gold filled pieces offer a more affordable option with a layer of gold that is thicker than gold plated items.

Solid gold can be repaired if scratched however gold filled cannot be repaired if scratched. The process for repairing scratches will expose the base metal in gold filled jewellery.

Gold filled jewellery can last 10-30 years. Solid gold jewellery can last forever and is our recommended choice for keepsakes with inclusions that cannot be replaced and/or for heirloom pieces.

How many inclusions can I add to my stone?

We recommend limiting your additions to 3 inclusions. The more inclusions you add the 'busier' your stone will look. We find that busy designs distract from the natural beauty of each inclusion and the story being told.
